Six goals for the second six months

Spring in England

Time flies. 

We stood up in San Francisco and leaped to London in April , wandered to Barcelona in July, dreamed our way through Croatia in August, woke up in Prague in October, blinked the sleep from our eyes and six months had come and gone. It’s incredible, exciting, existential, sad, happy, hard to grasp, everything.

There is so much we have learned during our first six months living in Europe, which I still need to capture from my overflowing mind and put onto [digital] paper. To kick off our second half in South and Central America, Keith and I listed out six goals to help guide us in this new part of the world and in this new chapter of our year abroad. Our two weeks in paradise, San Sebastian

As I sit here in the Athens airport on my way to Tel Aviv for Keith’s cousin’s wedding, I realize I haven’t written anything about our year abroad in over a month. I didn’t write one post when we lived in Barcelona in August. A lot of flights, early bus rides, new routines, more projects at work, Instagram black holes, [our amazing] visitors and excuses, excuses, excuses have gotten in the way of my writing. 

Remembering this year is important to me, so it’s time to write something, right now. I have 45 minutes before I board this flight to Tel Aviv.
